March 16, 2010-  The Lewisburg Fire Department announces that we have recieved a ISO Class 4 rating.  The result is based on an October 2009 survey.  This rating puts LFD in the top 15% of 47,648 fire protection jurisdictions in the United States that are evaluated by the ISO.  In West Virginia there are only 47 of the 680 fire protection jurisdictions that have a Class 4 or better rating.  For the citizens of Lewisburg this new rating could mean lower insurance premiums for their homes and businesses.
