Structure Fire 270 Tall Timbers
E 2012 arrived on scene to find heavy fire involvement in the A side room over the garage. Attack crew made entry through the rear door on the back deck and advanced through to the fire. The crew had a quick knock down of the room. The fire kept flaring up, come to find out there was a approximately 2' void between the floor and the garage ceiling where the fire had been burning for sometime and continued to burn. We had one Firefighter fall through the floor and sustained leg injuries and burns, he was transported to GVMC, had a couple Firefighters that were overcome by heat and were treated on scene. IC called for manpower assistance from Fairlea, Frankford, Clintonville, White Sulphur Springs, and Ronceverte Fire Departments due to the size of the salvage and overhaul operation and the heat and humidity. Fairlea EMS provided Rehab and Medical Care assisted by Northern Greenbrier EMS.
