Single vehicle MVC rollover on Benedict Lane. Vehicle struck a tree while rolling
and came to rest on its top. Passenger was out walking around upon arrival.
Driver was still in drivers seat with seatbelt on upside down. EMS used a KED to
immobilize the patient while in the seat. We had to pop the door with the
spreaders to gain access to the patient, and to remove him. Used the KED to
move the patient from the seat to the backboard. Both patients were transported
to GVMC by Fairlea EMS.
